Engine 84 returning from a structure fire

The Tawakoni Volunteer Fire Department currently has approximately five active volunteers as well as an active auxiliary board of volunteers. The fleet consists of two engines, one tanker, one brush truck, a medical squad, and a boat. The fire department’s primary response area covers roughly 3400 in population. In addition to serving their local response area, the Tawakoni Volunteer Fire Department also provides mutual aid to Lone Oak, Quinlan, East Tawakoni, Cash, Tawakoni South, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and any other county fire departments as necessary.
